About me

I’m Rebecca Littlehale, a junior neuroscience student passionate about clinical neuropsychology and translational research. I was accepted in the Dutton lab in my sophomore year of undergrad. My work focuses on the neuroprotective effects of Cordyceps Militaris in peri-menopausal mice, investigating its impact on stress-related behaviors and hormone regulation. I analyze cortisol, estrogen, and progesterone levels using ELISA tests to explore sex-specific therapeutic potential. Beyond research, I serve as President of Students Demand Action, a SAAC representative and treasurer, a resident assistant, and a college softball player. I am pursuing either a Ph.D. in neuroscience with a commitment to advancing neuroscience and healthcare.
